Tomorrow April 23 is the last day of the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream. That means they will have a mandatory payout of every winning ticket, and there will likely be plenty of them.

If you’re not familiar with it, the reason it carries over is because only one unique ticket can win the whole pool. Every ticket with 6 of 6 splits 40% of the pool, and the rest gets carried.

For one thing, Twinspires has organized a players pool to win it on Saturday, assuming it will continue to carryover, which is kind of the point of the dime 6.

The players pool, with 100,000 at their disposal, will probably take down at least half of the $1.4 million dollar pool, that I would count on, using multiple tickets to win it as many times as possible. Think of it as stacking the lottery.

The only good way to prevent that of course, is to win it with 1 unique ticket today. I’m convinced this can be done, because early in the carryover process, there were a few days where nobody even got 6 of 6. Hard to believe with dime tickets, but true.

That won’t be the case come saturday, because that players pool will have at least several winners. With 100k you can cover every horse in every race with dime tickets, which would be dumb in this case.

So bet it today and be the unique pool winner.
