Turfway gears up for Kentucky Derby action with the Spiral G3. Chad Brown tries to mimic Animal Kingdom’s path to the roses with Balance the Books by Lemon Drop Kid, but he doesn’t have the same animal as Motion did. ML favorite Uncaptured will have trouble holding him off late.

For a long shot take a look at Mac the Man, by El Corredor, who had a great first route rate last out and has the top EP rating. It could be that none can keep up with him for a certain distance and just a matter of whether he fades down the stretch. There’s not much speed in the race. 10-1 good.
