Bob Baffert announced at 9am Thursday that Hoppertunity has a left front hoof injury and will miss the Derby. Logic dictates he knew about this before the post draw on Wednesday, but he hoarded the spot anyway, seeing that there was only 1 AE. Field still at 20 for now.
