Arlington Park has it’s biggest day of the year, Saturday August 16, with the Arlington Millions G1 as the headline race, where Chad Brown’s Real Solution will try to defend the US against favored Aidan O’brien’s Magician and the other European invader Smoking Sun.

Aidan also brings the favorite in the G1 Secretariat for 3yo’s on turf, with Adelaide taking on a field of 9. He won’t win the FM G1 Beverly D, where Chad brings Stephanie’s Kitten and Alterite.

Most of the G1’s are almost devoid of speed, so don’t be surprised to see front running winners like Tourist in the Secretariat, Somali Lemonade or La Tia 15-1 in the Beverly D, or long shots Side Glance or Hardest Core in the Arlington Million G1.

Some of the European invaders are here to stay until November as they prep for the Breeders’ Cup. There are several other high dollar stakes on the card for saturday.
