The top choice of course is the field, which is any horse not listed in the first 23, despite whether they are listed at all. Almost 60 horses are actually listed in the pp’s.
Morning line on the field was set at 4-5 but has risen to 6-5 by 5pm on Friday. There is definitely some talent in the listed field.
The top single entry public choice is Mohaymen, undefeated in 4 lifetime starts beginning last year. Currently at 4-1, the $2.2 million dollar Tapit colt comes off three straight G2 wins, including this year’s Holy Bull stakes. The Maclaughlin trainee began at 8-1 morning line.

In second is Breeders Cup Juvenile winner Nyquist, also undefeated in 5 lifetime starts. The $400k Uncle Mo colt has done nothing wrong yet for trainer Doug O’neill. Currently at 5-1, he began at 12-1 morning line.
The are only two others currently under 20-1. One is Mor Spirit (Eskendereya), who has won 3 and came in 2nd twice. Most recently he won the Los Al Futurity G1 and Bob Lewis G3, for Bob Baffert.
The other is Airoforce (Colonel John), who would be undefeated in 4 lifetime starts except for a neck loss to a Euro horse in the BC Juvenile Turf. In his last start, he won the Ky Jockey Club G2 for Mark Casse.
