There’s no such thing as a bad racing day at the Spa, and today is no exception. The Jim Dandy G2, Alfred Vanderbilt G1, Amsterdam G2, and Bowling Green G2 are on the docket along with some intriguing MSW2’s.

The Jim Dandy is the feature in race 10. The morning line favorite is Mohaymen at 9-5, also the early Kentucky Derby favorite according to many other sites besides this one, where he was never ranked #1, but did rank in the top 4 prior to his 4th place Kentucky Derby finish.

Destin at 2-1 ML is a virtual co-favorite, after finishing a solid 6th in the run for the roses, then getting beat out by a nose at Belmont after earning our site’s top endorsement.

Creator 3-1 was the one that nosed out Destin in the Belmont Stakes, leaving a short sunshower and rainbow in his wake. If the track favors late runners, he will have a great chance at winning.

However, the 6 horse field is almost devoid of early speed, which is why Destin and Mohaymen are favored. But this could also mean that Laoban, the only true frontrunner, and the longest shot at 20-1, also has a good chance at the win.

The Amsterdam and Vanderbilt fields are also very competitive, but the Bowling Green field is quite short, as most are reluctant to take on 1-5 ML favorite Flintshire. Twilight Eclipse and Grand Tito are the only ones with a realistic upset chance.
