It’s that time of year for Mountaineer to have a big race day, featuring the WV Derby G2 along with 7 other stakes races with $100k purses and the Governors Stakes worth $200k.

The WV Derby will include some names you will recognize from the Triple Crown Trail such as Cupid, Mo Tom, Adventist, Forevamo, and Suddenbreakingnews, who was 5th in the run for the roses.
