I sincerely apologize for leaving everyone hanging on the Derby Dozen until now, especially after I bet on great horses like Irish War Cry and Mastery to win the Kentucky Derby as early as last November. But I have been very busy running several businesses and working my ass off about 60 hours a week.
At any rate, here’s the year’s first Derby Dozen as I see it. The major talent is coming out of Gulfstream Park so far, including former Derby favorite Classic Empire, and Irish War Cry, who beat the 2yo champ in the Holy Bull in very impressive fashion.
We will be updating the rankings at least twice a month until the beloved first Saturday in May.
