Obsessive Kentucky Derby handicappers like me who try to figure it out at least 6 months early will have eyes on the Frontrunner G1.

Yes Baffert has a pair in this 8.5f race, but Alvin Ruis has the ML favorite Bolt D’oro, who beat Baffert’s Zatter in the Del Mar Futurity, and Peter Miller has a live contender at 6-1 with the highest PF and LP.

Last year’s Frontrunner winner Gormley also won the Sham and Santa Anita Derby, and had a subpar 9th in the Kentucky Derby, and got 4th in the Belmont Stakes. This is a big race for west coast 2yo’s.
