Weekend Winners Club

We finally took down the Delmar Pick 6 on a pool of $3.3 million on sunday, but so did about 1000 other tickets. We had 2 of them for a total payout, including numerous 5/6 payouts, of around $8800.

The victory is bittersweet, since we were 3 deep in every leg but 1, and had a good long shot in each of those legs. No long shots won, and few even finished in the money. It was a day of favoritism for sure.

Note: 1 prohibitive favorite, which we singled and who won by an inch, 3 regular favorites, and two 2d choices. Easy 3666 payout, but we would have liked at least one of our long shots for a five digit payout.

Saratoga carryover today was taken down by others, we mustered 5/6 on a reasonable ticket but missed one where it looked like others would prevail.
