You may be thinking, well the chalk usually wins this, or maybe the best closer always wins. Well, the top LP is actually Kaigun with 20-1 ML, yes better LP than the 2-1 favorite.
What also comes to mind is, there’s very little speed in the race. The lone front runner is E8 Midnight Aria with 15-1 ML. Those odds will no doubt come down, along with 20-1 EP5 River Seven, the only other horse remotely resembling a frontrunner.
