So, what happened last weekend in horse racing? It was all detailed on our site, as we made a concerted effort to recap the weekend’s races to give you better content and usefulness.

We’re in full on Run for the Roses mode in trying to cover every aspect of it. Check it out.

It’s that time of year again, where we want to spread the word and encourage new donations, subscriptions, etc, to keep the site operating in the black.

The content and coverage of racing will and has not ceased or decreased, but rather continues to increase in the months to come, because we believe in giving you the best content on the web.

There are also no excessive ads that slow down our site and make it impossible to pull it up in 30 seconds or lesson your browser. We have a few ads from partners that we believe in, that’s all.

We at HRBW believe that content and quality are what will propel us to the top of the business, not excessive advertisement that annoys people and prevents our site from rendering quickly.

Note that the predictive and pre-analysis portion of the races has also increased, along with the post-race breakdown which everyone likes to see as well. This will continue to augment.

The main difference between this and other sites, who took most of our ideas and made it happen with assistance that we don’t have, is that we also provide speed/performance figures, which the others still do not and can not.

They just report results and opinions. No other sites can provide the figures that we have, much less in a color coded, convenient, concise, and altogether better format than the major vendors are offering.

It’s a shame that we don’t have the capitalists and marketers to really compete with the top data providers, but we do have the Grids, the charts, the intellect, and the insight. Perhaps one day, if we do get the capital, we will make the site exactly what is intended to be, but will never sell out.

It’s that time of year where we ask folks to invest some amount in our organization, so that we can all reap the benefits of the amazing and unique Grid that keeps you winning in horse racing.

Recently we have made some changes to the Grid, in light of the fact that variants and surfaces have changed. We are working on a unilateral, one-button program that will produce the information we need at a reasonable cost.

Unfortunately, as you know, nothing is free. The data files cost a certain amount of dollars, and the programming costs time (which equals money). The one button program could be made available for subscribers, eliminating the need for “middle man” intervention.

We have, and will continue to give everyone free analysis, and free performance figures for certain races and days, but we definitely want to provide Grids for every track and day that our paid subscribers desire.

We know that this is still the slowest time of the year, and even some serious horseplayers don’t even start paying attention until late February, but it’s definitely the right time to start picking up.

Now is the time to renew, reup, subscribe, or just sign up for the first time. You won’t be disappointed. We are still working feverishly to improve the product, and long overdue code is being developed.

This could and should be the biggest HRBW year ever, and all of us should profit from it, since it’s a product that benefits all horseplayers. Help us to make this year the best ever, for all of us!

It’s another big day in horse racing, as Santa Anita and Gulfstream each have 4 graded stakes, and Delta Downs has their Louisiana Premiere Night featuring 10 stakes races. Check out our preview for this week’s big three year old race, the Robert B Lewis G3.

You will notice we have a large emphasis on the three year olds this year, and the Derby Dozen has become a more regular feature. There will be another update for that after the Lewis has run, in order to get you ready for Derby Futures Pool 2 next weekend.
