Friday, April 5, 2019. Kentucky Derby Futures Pool 4 is here and runs through Sunday, so we have kindly provided The Grid for this endeavor, for you to see how they competition stacks up.

Stay tuned for the Derby Double Dozen, which will also be posted today as an added resource for you to narrow down the field and make some sensible wagers if desired.

You will see that 9 of them are actually racing tomorrow, Saturday April 6, in one of 3 major prep races in the Kentucky Derby Championship Series.

Note there are some unusual formats applied to the horse names in this version.
If the horse’s name is in:
Italics: He has acquired enough Kentucky Derby Points to run for the roses
Bold: He will be running another Kentucky Derby Prep Race, whether he has enough points or not
Blue: Slated to run in the Blue Grass G2 Stakes on April 6 at Keeneland
Brown: Slated to run in the Wood Memorial G2 at Aqueduct on April 6 at Aqueduct
Green: Slated to run in the Santa Anita Derby G1 on April 6
Others in bold without color will likely run in the Arkansas Derby G1 or Lexington G3 on April 13.
