Friday, May 29.  While eastern tracks are busy taking races off turf with huge fields of 20 that they have to cut down to 12 every day, it remains sunny at Santa Anita where they have much shorter but still competitive fields.  There’s a Pick 6 Jackpot carryover of $487k today.

Looking back, this is probably the last time we’ll do Santa Anita on a weekday.  The fields are horribly short in comparison to the options at big eastern tracks.  As usual, you get the Grid for all the big tracks here.
